AMAZON BESTSELLER TOP 100 KINDLE BESTSELLER LIST (2014 and 2015)When Tuesday Storm is eight years old she does something bad. Something so horrible her mother can't even bring herself to say what it is. Tuesday's punishment is to be isolated from her father and siblings and to stand with her face turned to a wall. Food is withheld, as well as sleep. She's forced to wear a mask so the rest of the family won't have to see her ugly face, and most painful of all, her mother stops calling her Tuesday. Instead she's known as "Horse Face" or "Weasel". Day after day, punishment for the mysterious "bad thing" continues until Tuesday's childhood becomes an endless nightmare of slavery, beatings, and sadistic "games". Starving and alone, she finds herself locked in a dark attic with nothing but a bare bed and a bucket for a toilet. If she wants to survive and reclaim her identity she has no choice but to fight back.Based on a true story, Call Me Tuesday recounts, with raw emotion, a young girl's physical and mental torture at the mercy of the monster in her mother's clothes--a monster she doesn't know how to stop loving. Tuesday's tragic, yet inspirational, journey through the hidden horrors of child abuse will open your eyes to what could be going on behind your neighbor's door, while her unwavering hope and fighting spirit will tug at your heartstrings.

Book Call Me Tuesday: Based on a True Story (Call Me Tuesday Series Book 1) Review :

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I too, was the victim of severe child abuse. I even went through some of the same things as you. Mine was in the 1970's as well, when no one paid attention to bruised children. I thin you are brave for sharing, and I am grateful to you. It is therapeutic to hear that I am not alone in my childhood terrors. I have purchased the sequel. God bless you!! :)CourtneyP.S. you were "Horse- face" I was "Cross-eyed Creep" We have both grown past all of that now
I am halfway through this book and just love it. Very well written and extreme eye opener. As I turn the pages, I keep wishing I could get my hands on this monster who calls herself a mother. The definition of a mother is not just giving birth, but the care and love that goes with it. I could never have children and would have given anything to be blessed with the opportunity. I have always thought though, that you need a license to drive a car, but anyone who can get pregnant is allowed to go home with a living being and be trusted to do the right thing. Just so sad and I know this story is just one of millions out there in this world in similar conditions. I cannot wait to continue reading and I pray that Tuesday gets justice in the end.
